News for Atlas German Shepherds - 2006
- December 31, 2006 - Atlas finished as the #2 German Shepherd in the UKC for 2006 defeating 132 dogs in the process!
- December 31, 2006 - Atlas finished as the #1 White German Shepherd in the WGSDCA for 2006 defeating 234 dogs. Riff Raff finished as the #2 White German Shepherd in the WGSDCA for 2006 and Vegas finished as the #7 White German Shepherd in the WGSDCA for 2006 defeating 6 dogs.
- December 30-31, 2006 - Mira qualifies in four runs in a NADAC trial - Regular Agility, Touch N Go, Chances and Tunnelers!
- December 9-10, 2006 - Atlas takes Best of Breed in a UKC show and goes on to Group I and Reserve Best in Show! He also took one Best Opposite Sex and one Best of Breed in WGSDCA shows. Vegas takes one Best Opposite Sex in WGSDCA shows. Anubis is Best Novice Puppy in Multi-Breed Show in two UKC shows and Best Stock Dog Petite Puppy in both WGSDCA shows.
- December 2-3, 2006 - Mira finished her NADAC Novice Touch N Go Title (TG-N). She qualified twice in Touch N Go and once in Tunnelers!
- November 18, 2006 - We did our first CPE agility trial and Mira qualified in standard agility.
- November 11-12, 2006 - Mira qualified in Novice Touch N Go at a NADAC trial in WI.
- November 10, 2006 - Atlas is awarded the WGSDCA Award of Merit (WAM) and WGSDCA Award of Excellence (WAX). Vegas is awarded the WGSDCA Award of Merit (WAM). Mira is awarded the WGSDCA Versatile Dog Award. (WVDA)
- November 2, 2006 - Vegas is awarded the Versatile Canine Companion (VCC) and Versatile Canine Companion Excellent (VCCX) from Clever Canine Companions.
- October 28-29, 2006 - Mira earned two legs towards her UKC Agility II title and qualified in AGI as well.
- October 14, 2006 - Atlas takes one Best of Breed at UKC shows in Elburn, IL and Vegas takes the other. Vegas also took Group II.
- October 7-8, 2006 - Mira qualified in standard agility at a NADAC trial
- September 30 - October 1, 2006 - WGSDCA Fall Shows - Atlas takes four Best of Breeds and Riff Raff takes the other one. Vegas is WB/BOW/BOS to finish her WGSDCA Championship. She also takes two more BOS wins as a special. Anubis takes Best Stock Dog Petite Puppy in his first show and Best Opposite Sex Stock Dog Petite Puppy in four shows.

- September 23-24, 2006 - Atlas wins two Best of Breeds at UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN. Vegas takes 2nd place in sub-novice obedience and two reserves in the champions class.
- September 22, 2006 - Vegas finished her AKC Rally Novice title! (RN) in Hugo, MN.
- September 15, 2006 - Mira finishes her AKC Rally Advanced Excellent Title! (RAE) in Rochester, MN.
- September 9-10, 2006 - Atlas wins Best of Breed and Group I at UKC shows in Minneapolis. Mira wins Best in Show Altered. Vegas takes a reserve in Champions Class
- September 1, 2006 - Vegas passes her AKC Canine Good Citizen test.
- August 26-27, 2006 - At an AKC Rally trial in Lake Elmo, MN Mira earned a qualifying Score in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B both days for her eighth and ninth RAE legs.
- August 19-20, 2006 - At a NADAC trial in Elk River, MN Atlas earned a qualifying score and 1st place in Novice Tunnelers. Mira qualified in Novice Touch N Go with third place.
- July 15-16, 2006 - At UKC Shows in Minneapolis, MN Atlas won three Best of Breeds and a Group I, Group II and Group III. Vegas took a reserve in the Champions Class.
- July 14, 2006 - At an AKC Rally trial in Duluth, MN Mira earned a qualifying Score in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B for her seventh RAE leg.
- June 25, 2006 - At the German Shepherd Dog Club of Minneapolis/St. Paul AKC Rally Trial in Lake Elmo, MN Mira qualified in Rally Advanced B with second place. Vegas qualified in Novice A Rally both days with a third and first place.
- June 15-18, 2006 - We attended the UKC Premier in Kalamazoo, MI and Atlas won the Grand Award of merit in one show.
- June 11, 2006 - At an AKC Rally trial in Brooklyn Park, MN Mira earned a qualifying Score in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B for her sixth RAE leg.
- June 2-4, 2006 - The WGSDCA 2006 National Weekend was held in Chattanooga, TN. Riff Raff won Best in Maturity and Best of Breed, Select 1, and Grand Victor in the 2006 National show. Atlas took Best of Breed in Regional Specialty Show #1 on Friday and was High Scoring Dog in Pre-Novice A Obedience on Saturday. He also won Select 2 and Best Stud Dog in the National show. Mira was honored with a special award - WGSDCA Performance Dog of the Year and competed in obedience and was High Scoring Dog in Novice A. Vegas won her class three of four shows and won Best Brace when shown with Atlas.
- May 27-28, 2006 - At an AKC Rally trial in St. Peter, MN Mira earned a qualifying Score in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B for her fifth RAE leg. She also qualified in Rally Advanced B on Sunday.
- May 20-21, 2006 - We attended an IABCA show in Hutchinson, MN. Vegas was Best of Breed Puppy in four shows and took three Group IIs and a Group III. She earned her IABCA International Junghund Championship. Riff Raff was Best of Breed all four shows and earned his IABCA UCI International Championship
- May 11, 2006 - At an AKC Rally trial in Hugo, MN Mira earned a qualifying Score in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B for her fourth RAE leg. She also earned a score of 94 in the Rally Challenge
- April 27, 2006 - At an AKC Rally trial in South St. Paul, MN Mira earned a qualifying Score in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B for her third RAE leg.
- April 22-23, 2006 - At UKC Shows in Minneapolis, MN Atlas won Best of Breed twice and Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show. Atlas also took 1st place in Sub-Novice Obedience.
- April 8-9, 2006 - We attended our first agility trial in Brooklyn Park, MN. This was a UKC trial. Mira qualified in three out of four runs with third places to finish her first agility title UAGI. She was also awarded High Scoring Herding Dog on Sunday.
- April 1-2, 2006 - At UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN Riff Raff was reserve in the champions class twice and won the champions class once to finish his UKC Grand Championship.
- March 25-26, 2006 - At UKC Shows in Racine, WI Atlas won two Best of Breeds and a Group III and a Group IV. Vegas took a reserve in the Champions Class. Riff Raff won the champions class for his fourth win for his grand championship.
- March 11-12, 2006 - At WGSDCA shows Lakeville, MN Atlas won Best of Breed in three shows. Vegas was Reserve Winners Bitch twice and Winners Bitch and Best Opposite Sex once for a 3 point major. Riff Raff won a Best of Breed.
- February 25, 2006 - At the Minneapolis Kennel Club AKC Rally Trial Atlas earned a qualifying score in Rally Novice B. Mira earned a qualifying Score in Rally Excellent B and in Rally Advanced B for her second RAE leg.
- February 4, 2006 - At UKC Shows in Elburn, IL Vegas won Best of Breed in both shows and a Group III and a Group IV.
