News for Atlas German Shepherds - 2012

December 31, 2012 - Atlas finishes 2012 as the #2 German Shepherd in the United Kennel Club Top Ten for conformation. He also finishes #46 for 2012 in United Kennel Club Rally Obedience 1 All-Stars (all breeds). Atlas was also White German Shepherd Dog Club International #1 Top Ten Dog for 2012. Luxor finishes #31 for 2012 in United Kennel Club Rally Obedience 1 All-Stars (all breeds).
December 8, 2012 - We did one day of CPE agility in Ham Lake, MN. Mira was 2/3 qualifying in Level 5 Jumpers and FullHouse. Nadia was 3/4 qualifying in Level 5 Jumpers, FullHouse and Snooker.
December 1-2, 2012 - Atlas attended UKC shows in Minneapolis, MN for his retirement weekend from UKC. He won Best of Breed in two shows and in both went on to Group 1 and Best in Multi-Breed Show! This was Atlas' 15th and 16th UKC Best in Shows.
November 23-25, 2012 - At a CPE trial in Ham Lake, MN Mira qualified in Level 5 Jumpers (x2), Snooker, FullHouse, Standard (x2), Colors and Wildcard (x2) and Nadia qualified in Level 4 Wildcard and Colors and Level 5 Jumpers (x2), Jackpot, Snooker, and FullHouse.
November 10-11, 2012 - We traveled to Ixonia, WI for UKC Conformation shows. Atlas won Best of Breed in three shows and a Group III and two Group Is. On Saturday he won his 7th Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show and on Sunday he won his 14th Best in Multi-Breed Show! Ivy won a Best of Breed and Group II and two reserves in the champion class and Bentley won a reserve in the champion class.
November 3-4, 2012 - Mira travled to Melrose Park, IL to compete in UKC agility. On Saturday she earned two Qs in AGII and picked up six points towards her UACH. On Sunday she qualifed in AGII with a perfect 200 and finished her UACH!
October 25-28, 2012 - Luxor and Nadia traveled to the UKC Gateway Nationals in Grays Summit, MO. Nadia won Best of Breed Altered twice and a Group III. She also qualified in agility with a perfect 200. Luxor qualified in rally all three days with great scores.
October 13-14, 2012 - Atlas, Luxor and Bentley attended UKC Rally hosted by Minnesota Mixed Breed Club and conformation hosted by United German Shepherd Dog Alliance in Lake Elmo, MN. In spite of the weather (it was outside) they all did great. Bentley qualified in rally with a 93 and earned a reserve in the champions class. Luxor qualifed in four rally runs with great scores and won a Best of Breed / Group II which earned him a Total Dog award on Saturday. Atlas was the star of the weekend. He earned Best of Breed in all three shows he was entered in and a Group II and two Group Is. He went on to win his 13th Best in Multi-Breed Show! He also won Best Veteran in Multi-Breed Show in the two shows he was entered in. He qualified in rally all four trials to earn a Total Dog award both days!
September 21-22, 2012 - We attended UKC Agility trials in Minneapolis, MN. Mira Qed in six runs with a couple perfect scores. On Saturday in trial 2 she was High Scoring GSD. Vegas did two runs and Qed in one. Anubis Qed 7/8 with great scores and finished his UAGII title and earned his first UACH points. Nadia Qed in four runs and in the second trial on Sunday she was High Scoring GSD.
September 16, 2012 - We spent the morning at an agility trial in St. Cloud, MN. Mira Qed in Level 5 Jackpot to finish her TChJP (Champion Jackpot) title and in Level 5 Colors. Anubis Qed in Level 5 Jackpot.
September 7-9, 2012 - We traveled to Bemidji, MN for UKC Rally and Conformation. On Friday night, Atlas, Bentley and Luxor all qualified in rally with scores of 95, 93 and 91. On Saturday in show 1, Luxor won the champions class and Bentley was reserve. Atlas won Best of Breed and Group IV. In show 2, Luxor again won the champions class and Bentley was reserve. These wins meant Atlas and Luxor both earned Total Dog awards! On Sunday, Atlas won Best of Breed both shows and a Group III and a Group I. Luxor won the champions class in both shows and Bentley took reserve in the first show. In the second show, a dog had moved up to the champions class so we had a full class. This meant Luxor finished his UKC Grand Championship!
September 1-2, 2012 - Mira and Anubis competed in UKC Agility in Ixonia, WI. Anubis qualified in all four AGI runs with a 190, 199, and two perfect 200s. Mira qualified in three AGI runs with two 199s and a 190. She also qualified twice in AGII with a 200 and a 199 picking up 16 points towards her UACH.
August 25-26, 2012 - We attended UKC Conformation shows and Rally trials in Bettendorf, IA. In all three conformation shows Atlas was Best of Breed and Group 2, Luxor won the Champion class and Bentley was reserve. In Rally on Saturday both boys qualified and Atlas was 3rd and Luxor 4th. On Sunday Luxor qualified with a 98 for 1st place and Atlas got a 97 for 3rd place. Both boys earned Total Dog both days!!
August 11-12, 2012 - We attended a CPE Trial in Burnsville, MN. Mira qualified in Colors (twice), Standard, FullHouse, Wildcard, Jumpers and Jackpot - all level 5. Anubis qualified in Level 4 FullHouse, Level 5 Colors and Level 4 Jackpot to finish his CL4-S title. He also qualified in three Level 3 Standard runs to finish his CL3-R title.
July 28-29, 2012 - We attended an APDT trial in Hugo, MN. Atlas qualified in his only Level 1 run with a 203 earning a leg towards his RL1X2 title. Anubis qualifed in both his Level 1 runs with a 194 (3rd place) and a 196. He finished his RL1 title and earned a leg towards his RL1X title.
July 20-21, 2012 - Friday night we attended a NADAC trial in LaCrosse, WI. Mira qualified in Open Touch N Go and finished her TG-O title. Nadia qualified in Novice Tunnelers and finished her TN-N title. Anubis qualified in Novice Touch N Go and Novice Tunnelers twice and finished his TN-N title. Saturday we went to a CPE trial in Rochester, MN. Nadia qualifed in level 5 Snooker. Mira qualfied in Level 5 Snooker, Level 5 Standard and Level 5 Jackpot. Anubis qualfied in Level 3 Standard, Level 5 Snooker and Level 4 Jackpot.
June 30-July 1, 2012 - We attended UKC Shows in Le Center, MN. Atlas qualified in rally both days with scores of 99 and 97. He earned a second place both days. On Saturday in conformation he won Best of Breed and Group III both shows. On Sunday he only competed in one show and won the Grand Champion class. Both days he earned a Total Dog award. Luxor also qualified in rally both days. On Saturday he took one reserve in the Champions class and won it once. On Sunday he took a reserve. He earned a Total Dog award on Saturday.
June 22-24, 2012 - WGSDCII National Specialty in Gray Summit, MO - we had a fantastic weekend! Atlas won Best of Breed at both the chapter shows on Friday and Select 3 in the National. He was also awarded the Lobo award (oldest male dog shown) and Best Stud Dog. Atlas was also Best in Veteran Sweeps. Vegas won Best of Breed, Select 1 and Grand Victrix at the National and was awarded the Penny award (oldest female dog shown) and Best Brood Bitch. Nadia was Best Opposite Sex in one of the chapter shows on Friday and Select 3 in the National. Luxor was Winners Dog and Best of Winners in the first chapter show and Winners Dog in the second to finish his WGSDCII Championship. On Sunday for the National he was Best Opposite Sex, Select 1 and Grand Victor! Luxor was also Best Opposite in Puppy Sweeps. Ivy was Reserve Winners Bitch in one of the chapter shows on Friday.
June 14-17, 2012 - UKC Premier in Kalamazoo, MI - we had a great weekend. Nadia qualified in three agility runs. Luxor qualified in rally, won a reserve in the Champion class in the German Shepherd specialty and won an Award of Merit in the Champion class on Saturday. The AOM and the rally Q qualified him for Total Dog!
June 2-3, 2012 - We traveled to UKC Shows in Ixonia, Wi. Luxor took two reserves in the Champion class and Ivy was Best of Breed for her first Grand Champion leg.
May 18, 2012 - We did one evening of NADAC agility in Lake Elmo, MN. Mira was clean in all her runs but only made time in one run - Novice Weavers - and finished her O-WV-N title. Nadia ran well and Qed in Novice Tunnelers.
May 12-13, 2012 - Anubis and Mira competed in the CPE agility in Lakeville, MN. Mira qualified in 7/7 run for the weeked with Qs in Level 5 Standard (x2), Level 5 Colors, Level 5 Wildcard, Level 5 Snooker, Level 5 FullHouse and Level 5 Jackpot. Anubis was 5/7 with Qs in Level 3 Standard, Level 4 Colors, Level 4 Snooker, Level 4 FullHouse and Level 4 Jackpot.
May 5-6, 2012 - We traveled to LaCrosse, WI for CPE agility. Anubis Qed in Level 4 Snooker, Level 3 FullHouse, Level 3 Jumpers, Level 4 Colors and Level 4 Jackpot. He finished his CL3-F title. Mira Qed in Level 5 Colors (x2), Level 5 Wildcard, Level 5 Snooker, Level 5 Jumpers, Level 5 FullHouse, Level 5 Standard and Level 5 Jackpot. Her Colors and Jackpot Qs finished her fourth CPE championship - CT-ATCH 3.
April 28-29, 2012 - Nadia, Luxor and Ivy competed at UKC Shows in Yorkville, IL. Luxor won Best of Breed twice as well as Group III and Group IV for two legs towards his Grand Championship. Nadia won Best of Breed twice and two Group IIIs. These wins finished her WGSDCII Championship! Ivy took reserve in the Champion class all four shows.
April 21-22, 2012 - We attended UKC rally and agility trials in Minneapolis, MN. Anubis Qed in all four runs of AGI and one AGII run earning his UAGI title. Vegas (with handler Tim) also Qed in all four AGI runs and earned her UAGI title. Mira Qed in all her AGI runs and all but one of her AGII runs. She earned points toward her UACH and was High Scoring GSD in three trials. Nadia earned two legs in AGII and also Qed twice in AGI. Luxor Qed in rally on Saturday with a 95.
April 15, 2012 - We attended WGSDCII shows in Burnsville, MN. Atlas won Best of Breed once and Vegas won Best Opposite Sex twice. Luxor won Reserve Winners Dog once and Winners Dog twice. In one show he went on to win Best of Winners and Best of Breed! Nadia won Reserve Winners Bitch once and Ivy won Reserve Winners Bitch once.
April 7-8, 2012 - We spent the weekend doing CPE agility in Lakeville, MN. Mira qualified in Level 5 Standard (x2), Level 5 Colors, Level 5 Wildcard, Level 5 Snooker, Level 5 Jumpers and Level 5 FullHouse. She finished her Champion Colors title (TChCL). Anubis qualified in Level 3 Standard, Level 4 Colors, Level 3 Wildcard, Level 3 Jumpers and Level 4 Snooker.
March 31-April 1, 2012 - We did our first UKC Conformation shows of the year. Atlas won Best of Breed veteran all four shows and Best Veteran in Multi-Breed show in one show. Luxor won the champions class once for his second GRCH leg and took three reserves. Bentley won the champions class once for her first GRCH leg.
March 24-25, 2012 - Another CPE trial, this time in Isanti, MN. Mira Qed in Level 5 Standard, Level 5 Wildcard, Level 5 Colors, Level 5 Jackpot, Level 5 Snooker, Level 5 FullHouse, Level 5 Jumpers and finished her Champion Standard title (TChST). Anubis Qed in Level 3 FullHouse, Level 2 Standard (x2), Level 3 Jumpers, Level 3 Jackpot, and Level 4 Colors. He finshed his Level 2 Regular (CL2-R) and Level 3 Strategy (CL3-S) titles. Nadia Qed in Level 4 Colors, Level 5 Jackpot, Level 5 FullHouse, and Level 5 Jumpers.
March 17, 2012 - We did one day of NADAC in Isanti, MN. Anubis and Nadia Qed in Novice Tunnelers and Mira Qed in Open Standard to finish her Open Agility Certificate (OAC).
March 10, 2012 - We attended a CPE Trial in LaCrosse, WI. Anubis Qed in Level 4 Snooker. Vegas Qed in Level 2 Standard and Level 2 Jumpers. Mira Qed in Level 5 Jumpers, Level 5 Colors, and Level 5 Wildcard which finished her Champion Wildcard title (TChWC). Nadia Qed in Level 4 Standard, Level 4 Colors, Level 5 Snooker and Level 4 Wildcard.
February 25-26, 2012 - We attended a CPE Agility Trial in Ham Lake, MN. Mira Qed in Level 5 Standard (x2), Jackpot, Wildcard, FullHouse, Snooker and Jumpers. Nadia qualified in Level 4 Colors, Jumpers, FullHouse and Jackpot. She finished her CL4-S and CL4-F titles.
February 17-18, 2012 - We attended a CPE Agility Trial in LaCrosee, WI. Mira Qed in Level 5 Wildcard and Level 5 Colors to finish her CPE Enthusiast Agility Trial Champion 2 title (CT-ATCH2). Nadia qualified in Level 3 Standard, Level 3 Colors, Level 4 Jackpot and Level 4 FullHouse. She finished her CL3-R and CL3-H titles completing level 3.
February 10-12, 2012 - We attended a CPE Agility Trial in New Berlin, WI. Mira Qed in 11 out of 12 runs including Standard (x4), Wildcard, FullHouse, Jackpot, Snooker (x2) and Jumpers (x2) - all level 5. She also finished her Enthusiast Snooker Champion title (TChSn). Nadia qualified in five runs - Level 3 Wildcard and Standard and Level 4 Jackpot, Jumpers, and Snooker.
February, 2012 - Luxor earned his Versatile Canine Companion title from Clever Canine Companions!
January 21-22, 2012 - We attended a UKC Rally trial in Hugo, MN. Luxor qualified in Rally Level 1 B on Saturday for his second leg and on Sunday also qualified with a score of 97 and a third place to finish his URO1 title.
January 15, 2012 - We did one day of CPE agility in Ham Lake, MN. Nadia had a perfect day going 4 for 4 with Qs in Level 3 Standard and Colors and Level 4 FullHouse and Snooker. Mira went 3 for 4 Qing in FullHouse, Standard and Snooker. She finished her Enthusiast FullHouse Champion title (TChFH).
January 7-8, 2012 - We went to a CPE agility trial in LaCrosse, WI. Mira went 8 with Qs in Standard (2), FullHouse, Wildcard, Jackpot, Snooker, Colors and Jumpers. Atlas ran two runs - Level 1 Wildcard and Level 1 Snooker. He Qed in both runs to finish his CSL1-H and CSL1-S titles. Nadia Qed in six of eight runs with Qs in Standard, Snooker, Jackpot (2), Fullhouse, and Jumpers. She finished her CL3-F and CL3-S titles.
